Paraprofessional Shining Star

Dr. Philip Anderson

The Performance Learning Center

Paraprofessionals play a very important role in the education of our children. They nurture and support the learning needs of students, and they help teachers prepare materials and organize their classroom for instruction. The Performance Learning Center’s Dr. Philip Anderson was chosen as the “Best of the Best” in the paraprofessional category.

Dr. Anderson’s nominations described him as the “definition of a positive adult role model.” He respects all students, he understands how to relate to them, and he is an expert at helping students become successful both academically and behaviorally. Students know they can trust him because “he is sincere, he cares, and he’ll be back to do it again tomorrow.” Dr. Anderson is really making a difference in the lives of students at The Performance Learning Center.

Congratulations Dr. Philip Anderson! The Catoosa County Board of Education appreciates your efforts to go “above and beyond” to be selected as the Catoosa County Public Schools Paraprofessional Shining Star.
