Timeline for LFO Renovations |

Through the support of our community and ESPLOST, LFO continues to receive extensive renovations to make the school a first-class facility. As of this date, we have received new lighting for our football field and extensive updating to the technology available for instruction. Every teacher has received a new laptop computer as well as an overhead projector and Mimio board in their classrooms. To go along with this, the existing ethernet wiring has been updated to fiber optic cable and new servers have been installed. This significant restructuring has given our teachers and students the ability to access the latest instructional tools and opportunities with little down time.
LFO will receive extensive renovations to our athletic facilities and classrooms over the next year. Here is a timeline of how the improvements are to occur:
March 2012 --- Phase I begins with the bid going to the state for renovations to the Science labs, Office area, Cafeteria, and Kitchen.
May 2012 --- Construction begins on Phase I
July 2012 --- Phase II begins with the bid for the new athletic facilities going to the state for approval.
September 2012 --- Construction begins on Phase II

After School Tutoring Available |

Afterschool tutoring is available in Math and English/Language Arts on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:45 to 5:15 p.m. Transportation home is provided. To sign-up, please complete the form and return it to the office no later than January 9th. Spaces are limited, so don't delay.
