    Mr. Pelham is a lifelong resident of North Georgia and a graduate of Rossville High School's class of 1987.  He earned his Bachelor's Degree in Middle Grades Education from West Georgia College in Carrollton, Georgia, in 1992.  Mr. Pelham received a Masters Degree in Education and Administration from Lincoln Memorial University in 2006.  He has been a teacher and a coach for thirteen years in Walker County at Chattanooga Valley Middle School.
Mr. Pelham's wife's name is Sondra Lowrance Pelham.  They have no children of their own but often borrow kids (nieces and nephews) on the weekends.
    He enjoys the outdoors, hiking, landscaping, traveling, college football, and working with kids of all ages.  Although he doesn't like running and working out, he does it anyway because of his love for doughnuts and Mountain Dew.
    Mr. Pelham is very excited about working with the students and staff at LMS and believes we can be the best middle school in the state!

  Before serving as Assistant Principal at LMS, Mr. Steve McClure ccame to us from Hamilton County Schools, where he retired after serving as Director of Classified Personnel.  He is also a former principal at Ooltewah Middle, Hixson Middle, and Loftis Middle and a recipient of the Administrator of Year Award.  Mr. McClure is a graduate of MTSU and received a master's degree from UTC.
   Mr. McClure and his wife, Gina, have been married for twenty-three years and are the parents of two sons, the younger one is a junior at Hixson High and the older is a rising sophomore at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.  Mr. McClure is ready to begin working with the staff and students at LMS as Principal, and is excited to be leading  our administrative staff.

  Mr. Chastain comes to Lakeview Middle School after retiring from Hamilton County Schools where he was Principal at Sale Creek High.  Before that,  he served as an Assistant Principal at Sale Creek High and Tyner High.  He also served as a teacher and coach at Red Bank High School.  Mr. Chastain received his B.S. from UTC and his Masters from Trevecca College.
    Mr. Chastain has been married for 27 years to his wife, Tina.  They have two daughters who attend college; Casey is a junior and Bailee is a sophomore.  The Chastains enjoy traveling and are involved in numerous athletic activities.
    Mr. Chastain is looking forward to the opportunity to work with students and staff in such a great community and school.
