To
promote student learning in the fullest sense through active
participation and problem solving so that our students are prepared to
be productive and responsible citizens.
- Student learning should be the
chief priority of the school.
- It is the school's
responsibility to provide opportunities for all students to learn
and achieve to the fullest extent of their abilities.
- Each student should be exposed
to a body of core knowledge to prepare for life-long learning.
- We accept the opportunity to
prepare students to be responsible and productive citizens of our
country.
- It is the responsibility of the
school to provide a wholesome learning environment in which each
student, whatever his/her socioeconomic, cultural, or ethnic status,
is accepted as a person of dignity and worth and in which each can
experience a sense of belonging, safety, and security.
- We accept the responsibility to
establish a network of people and resources that will create
strategies to encourage each student to develop social skills
related to character.
- We should promote the active
process of learning through pupil participation in activities that
require problem solving, communication skills, and the application
of general math principles.
- We should develop the
individual's ability to think reflectively, act intelligently and
cooperatively. We will select learning activities to meet the
diverse needs and interests of the pupils as individuals and as
members of the group.
- Professionals in education
should model life-long learning and commitment through participation
in ongoing professional development activities.
