Each one is dedicated and committed to serving its school community to ensure not only RMS is successful, but also each individual that makes up the student body. Each welcomes you to Ringgold Middle School. ![]() Mr. Mike Sholl (Principal)
Mr. Sholl began his career at Rossville High School as a history teacher and primarily worked in that field of study for a number of years until he became an assistant principal at Northwest High School. He retained that position for 9 years. He brings to RMS his experience as a seasoned administrator and teacher. Mr. Sholl is married to Kerri who is also an administrator in the Catoosa County school system. They have three children who attend our schools as well. So, of course, one of Mr. Sholl's hobbies is watching his children play sports. However, he also enjoys golf and gardening. Mr. Jeff Fricks (Assistant Principal)
Dawgs or Vols fan? Mr. Fricks earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia. He went on to earn both a Master's and Education Specialist's degree from Tennessee Technological University. On a personal note, Mr. Fricks is married to Daune who is a tax specialist. They have two grown children. In his spare time, Mr. Fricks enjoys hunting, fishing, and golf. Mrs. Kim Mullins (Assistant Principal)
Mrs. Mullins has been involved in education as a teacher, department head, yearbook and newspaper sponsor, academic coach, literacy coach, consultant, and literacy director for the past 25 years. While spending 20 years in the classroom teaching English, speech, and world cultures at East Ridge High School, Mrs. Mullins learned many things that will assist her in her position as assistant principal at Ringgold Middle School. Mrs. Mullins received her Bachelor's degree from Tennessee Temple University and her Master's degree from University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. She continued her studies at Tennessee Tech where she earned her Education Specialist's degree. When not at school, Mrs. Mullins spends time watching her youngest daughter play volleyball, talking to and guiding her oldest daughter as she continues her studies at MTSU, and assisting her husband with his business. In her spare time, she enjoys teaching step aerobics and perusing the "treasures" found at garage sales! |
