Who is the CCPS Parent Mentor?
I am the mother of one wonderful and special  child, Travis. He was born with a

chromosomal abnormality (Alfi Syndrome). I  have dealt with many daily challenges that  accompany his diagnoses and hope my  experiences can help other parents/families  in their journey. I am excited to help families  of Catoosa County and hope you will reach  out to me if I can help you.

How can a Parent Mentor Help Me?

Promote partnerships between parents and educators
Provide workshops for parents and educators
Link families to support groups or other parents
Guide parents through the referral, evaluation and services process
Provide information about support services, policies  and procedures
Provide parents’ perspective to educators
