2023 Young Georgia Author Winners for CCPS

Congratulations to all of our students who competed.  Highlights from the competition this year included two schools who will receive Writers' Cups this year:

Highest Participation Rate - Ringgold Primary School

Most Winning Entries - Ringgold Middle School

A 12th-grade student from Ringgold High, Issa Musa, is the Catoosa Citizens for Literacy Young Author Scholarship recipient. He wrote a technical piece called, "The Weight of Existence." Issa will receive a $500 scholarship to attend a post-secondary institution of his choice.

On May 9, the Winners and the Honorable Mentions will be recognized and celebrated in the CCPS Boardroom - The elementary ceremony - 5:30 - 6:15 pm and the secondary ceremony - 6:30 - 7:15 pm. More information on each of these events is forthcoming.
