Catoosa Kids Day was a resounding success, drawing over 1,000 attendees and providing a wealth of essential services to the community. Held on July 25th, the event offered a day of fun, health, and preparedness for local families as they prepare for the upcoming school year.
Over 80 children received fresh haircuts, courtesy of the generous volunteers at Rock Bridge Baptist Church. The Catoosa County Sheriff’s Department stepped up to provide over 55 crucial fingerprinting sessions, ensuring the safety of countless children. Primary Healthcare Centers offered vital medical screenings to over 70 individuals, promoting overall well-being.
The highlight for many was undoubtedly the distribution of over 600 free backpacks filled with essential school supplies, ensuring students were ready to hit the books when the new school year starts in August. The event showcased the power of community collaboration, with numerous organizations and volunteers coming together to create a positive impact on the lives of Catoosa County families.
