The CCPS Child Nutrition Department recently completed a five year Administrative Review. The Administrative Review includes thorough inspection through all financial records, nutritional content of meals, planning procedures, food safety, and day to day operations related within school cafeterias. This exhaustive assessment took months to complete and concluded with on-site observations within kitchens and dining halls. Our successful review was made possible by the hard work of CCPS Child Nutrition staff, including cafeteria employees and central office staff. Three schools in particular, Cloud Springs Elementary, Heritage Middle, and Ringgold High were hosts to the most comprehensive observations. The Catoosa County Child Nutrition Department celebrates the successful Review and is grateful for the effort demonstrated by their hard working staff.
