Tammy Tran was honored as an Exemplary ESOL Student for her leadership and service. She volunteers at summer camps, mentors younger ESOL students, and actively assists in classrooms and with the school news broadcast. Tammy’s initiative and dedication have made her a respected role model among her peers and a valuable asset to her school community.

Julie Lowery, a passionate educator at Battlefield Primary, was recognized for her outstanding impact as an ESOL teacher. Her support extends beyond English Language Learners—she helps all students and works closely with classroom teachers to enhance communication with students and their families. Known for her ability to connect deeply with children, Julie creates not only engaging lessons but an engaging classroom environment. Her work plays a vital role in uniting families with the school and fostering a strong sense of community.

The board expressed deep appreciation for both Tammy and Julie, celebrating their dedication, compassion, and commitment to student success.
