At the May 2023 Board meeting, Ringgold High School’s Public Safety program was recognized for achieving Industry Certification from the Law and Public Safety Education Network. Industry Certification is the Georgia Department of Education’s “stamp of excellence” in Career, Technical, and Agricultural Education and represents the apex of program quality.
Dr. Thomas Washburn said the strengths of Ringgold's program led by Mr. Travis Head are its “combination of both robust industry support and an administration team focused on student success, Ringgold has one of the best programs in the country!”
