This is the image for the news article titled RHS Wrestling State ChampionsDuring the May board meeting, Coach Moss proudly introduced three standout student-athletes from Ringgold High School who achieved remarkable success in the 2024–2025 wrestling season. These athletes were recognized for their dedication, discipline, and outstanding performances at the state level.

Billy Hamilton, a sophomore competing in the 138 lb weight class, was named a State Champion this season. Hamilton is a two-time state placer and two-time state qualifier, finishing the season with an impressive 54-1 record. His career record now stands at 101-9, marking a strong start to what promises to be an exceptional high school wrestling career.

Pierce Pennington, a senior in the 150 lb weight class, capped off his high school career as a three-time State Champion. Pennington has placed at state three years and qualified all four years, compiling a season record of 49-2 and an extraordinary career record of 187-20.

Jaxon Delgado, a senior in the 165 lb weight class, also brought home a State Championship title this season. A four-time state qualifier and placer, Delgado ended the season with a 52-3 record and an impressive career total of 164-40.

The board commended Coach Moss and these outstanding athletes for their commitment to excellence and for representing Ringgold High School with pride and sportsmanship on the state stage.
