CCPS recently held the YGA second annual awards night and the turnout was fantastic. The excitement generated by Tuesday evening's awards ceremonies to celebrate our Young Georgia Authors (YGA) "winners" and "honorable mentions" was echoed by all who attended. At the elementary and secondary celebrations, each winner received a medal, a certificate, an engraved journal, and a bound copy of the written pieces for their respective grade band. Each honorable mention received a certificate and an engraved journal. The students seemed thrilled to see their names on their journals. Congratulations to Ringgold Primary School for winning the YGA Cup for this school year.
