Recently, Boynton music classes have worked with Tara Trobaugh, music teacher, to create music from glasses of water. The students loved feeling the vibration and hearing music come from something as simple as a glass of water. The classes enjoyed and learned from this engaging activity. Students also use their technology devices to write music using a program Mrs. Trobaugh purchased for her classes. After the students compose their pieces they can listen to it on their devices.

Music class is one of the students favorite resource classes at Boynton because the music teacher, Tara Trobaugh, makes learning about music fun and exciting. Every week students actively participate in different musical concepts and often these are incorporated with standards they learn in math, science, English and social studies classes. Tara Trobaugh was named teacher of the year for Boynton last school year and here is a big reason for this recognition. Students at Boynton want to thank her for making music fun and a great learning experience.
