ParentSquare makes it easier than ever to receive district updates, message teachers, sign forms, and stay involved with your student’s school community.


What You Can Do with ParentSquare

  • Custom Delivery Preferences: Choose how you receive news—via email, text, or app notification.

  • Flexible Notification Timing: Opt to receive updates instantly as they happen, or bundle non-urgent news into a single Daily Digest at 6:00 PM. (Emergency alerts are always delivered immediately.)

  • Two-Way Translation: Communicate seamlessly in your preferred language.

  • Event & Volunteer Tracking: View school calendars, RSVP for events, sign up for volunteer slots, or contribute items for classroom activities.

  • Direct Messaging: Securely message your child’s teachers and school staff directly.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to download the app to receive updates? No. You will still receive emergency alerts, texts, and email updates without the app. However, downloading the mobile app allows you to adjust preferences, message staff, and access forms easily.

How is ParentSquare different from Infinite Campus?

  • Infinite Campus: Used for official academic records—grades, attendance, class schedules, and transportation details.

  • ParentSquare: Used for day-to-day communications—district news, teacher messaging, permission slips, and school calendars.

  • Families should maintain active accounts on both platforms.

Does ParentSquare replace SchoolMessenger, Remind, and ClassDojo? Yes. ParentSquare officially replaces previous platforms starting in the 2026–2027 school year as our single, official district communication tool.

Why did CCPS choose ParentSquare? We selected ParentSquare to eliminate the clutter of managing multiple communication apps across different schools and classrooms. With built-in language translation, secure form signing, and calendar integration, ParentSquare gives families a single, reliable hub for all school communications.
